Teo Joo Tse

Overview

Joo Tse is a professional strategy consultant who design solutions to drive business value for clients by optimizing their business and leveraging on their available resources. She is also a certified Trainer under HRDF and International Certified Valuation Specialist (ICVS) accredited by the IACVA (International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts) headquartered in Toronto, Canada with chapters all over the world. Her investment career commenced in 2009. She holds Bachelor Degree of Science in Actuarial Science from Depaul University, Chicago, U.S.. She is currently pursuing MBA at Veritas University.

Prior to that, Joo Tse was an Equity Analyst cum Portfolio Manager at Manulife Asset Management Services Bhd. She was involved in equity investment analysis with exposure to a wide range of sectors including consumer, plantation, property, REIT, media and oil and gas. She also managed funds and was part of the award-winning team that received 8 awards from The Edge/Thomson Reuters Lipper Malaysia in 2017.

Before joining Manulife, Joo Tse was also a Research Analyst with Kenanga Investment Bank, Public Investment Bank and Capital Dynamics Asset Management. During her role as an analyst, she received a handful of awards. In 2012, she swept 2 Best Analyst Call Awards from The Edge Weekly Malaysia for her great stock picks in Dutch Lady and GW Plastics.
